Air Routing International ("ARI") (Booth No. 1705), a worldwide leader in corporate flight handling to the business aviation industry, announced that Wolfram Pinhammer has joined the company in the new position of manager of European sales and marketing.

Pinhammer will be based in Berlin, Germany and be responsible for guiding Air Routing's sales organization on the continent.

Tim Maystrik, vice president of Air Routing, said, "from our perspective, even though we have had our European representatives support our sales and marketing there, we wanted to dedicate a sales and marketing office that would be designed specifically to expand both our European presence and client base. We see Europe as a growing region for us and recognize that it is important to invest in developing an infrastructure to meet our needs there."

Pinhammer has worked for more than 20 years in the aviation handling business. He was commercial director of Goldair Handling Greece, based at Athens International Airport. He was also responsible for setting up a dedicated product line for handling executive aviation, athlete flights and state/VIP flights at 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Prior to that he was director of marketing of GlobeGround Berlin.
