Jet Aviation Flight Services expands U.S. charter and management fleet under Part 135 Air Carrier certificate

Jet Aviation Flight Services, Inc. will add seven aircraft to its charter fleet by the end of October and three new aircraft to its management fleet by the end of November 2010. The company currently manages a total of 73 aircraft in the U.S., of which 25 are available for charter services.

Since becoming an air carrier in late 2009, Jet Aviation Flight Services, Inc. has received several certifications, including a Platinum safety rating from ARG/US, IS-BAO registration and it recently received the designation "Wyvern Recommended". In addition, Jet Aviation has been awarded self-conformity authority by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) allowing "N" registered aircraft to be added to the certificate anywhere in the world without the requirement of a physical inspection by the FAA.

By the end of October 2010, the company will have 12 aircraft under its U.S. Part 135 certificate available for charter services. In the past year, Jet Aviation Flight Services has added 17 aircraft to its managed fleet and will add another three by the end of November bringing the total number of managed aircraft from currently 73 to 76.

In October 2009, Jet Aviation became a U.S. Part 135 Air Carrier operating as Jet Aviation Flight Services, Inc. Jet Aviation has provided aircraft charter services for over 40 years, offering worldwide services from its coordination centers in Teterboro, New Jersey; Zurich, Switzerland; and Hong Kong, China. The company has access to more than 1,700 aircraft of many types and sizes, including Global Express, Gulfstream, Falcon, Hawker, Challenger, Citation and Learjet aircraft.
