The acquisition of the Grand Prairie location by Optima Aero is ideal for US market entry for Canada's Optima Aero.

In 2017 helicopter MRO specialist Uniflight Global developed a Tactical Flight Officer station for a law enforcement client, installed into a Cessna 206. Since then, fixed-wing demand has accelerated.

A fund from Thora Capital was used to acquire two helicopters, one from Aviation Services Unlimited in a sale-leaseback arrangement and the other imported from Canada. Both will be leased to ASU for seven years.
