Final approval from Transport Canada Civil Aviation has cleared Canadian operators, MROs and completion centres to install the kit, which lowered cabin noise by an average of 3.1 dB(SIL) in flight testing.

Skandia's engineered approach treats both airborne and structure-borne sound through a coordinated system of damping, absorption and barrier materials. The company can also perform an in-flight acoustical analysis.
