EHang's EH216-S pilotless eVTOL aircraft has made its first flight in Costa Rica, showcasing its potential for aerial sightseeing and intra resort transportation uses.

They will perform advanced tests to drive progress in integrating eVTOLs and vertiports prior to real commercial operations, with a view to a swift market uptake in Spain, Europe and then scale up worldwide.

The aim of this collaboration is to co-develop the first network of vertiports in Portugal for passengers and goods, as well as to explore future commercial operations for air shuttle, tourism and emergency services.
