Alder's greencrude SAF is being readied for global rollout as a drop-in replacement to petroleum-based jet fuel. It will be tested on a R-R Pearl engine to evaluate energy efficiency, emissions criteria and carbon credentials.

Flexjet aims not just to offset but reduce its emissions, and the use of SAF produced with Alder's greencrude will help achieve that. The transparency tool developed by Alder and 4Air will serve as a proof of concept.

Alder converts globally available biomass to green crude oil scalable to meet the industry's demand at a cost competitive with petroleum. Avfuel's 1bn gallon contract will help establish an international supply network.
