Queensland lifesaver buys Australia's first entrol H14 FTD

The device, based on the Bell 429, will be installed by entrol by mid-2023 in Surf Life Saving Queensland's base in Archerfield airport, on the eastern coast of Australia.

Three Bell 429s will be delivered to the Queensland Police Service towards the end of 2023. They will be used to support crime fighting efforts around southeast Queensland.
Lifesaver 46, an EC135P2+, joins SLSQ's existing Lifesaver 45, also an EC135. Chief pilot Paul Gibson says the upgrade of aircraft is important for the future of the service, which last year patrolled 13,000 beaches.
