P&WC targets 2024 for PW800 engine station in Germany

The PW800 powers the Gulfstream G500, G600, in future the G400, as well as the Falcon 6X when it enters service. Pratt & Whitney is to open a second engine MRO facility in 2024 in Berlin-Brandenburg.
Oil and gas behemoth Aramco takes 9,000th MTU engine

Saudi Aramco is a large state-owned petroleum and natural gas company, based in Saudi Arabia. The company has been sending CFM56 engines to MTU Maintenance since 2004 and has now reached a major milestone.
The Silent Air Taxi by e.SAT is expected to enter service in 2024, two years after its maiden flight. Sound finances and powerplant expertise are required to achieve this aim, which is where MTU Aero Engines comes in.
