IADA dealers closed 1,422 pre-owned transactions in 2023 compared to 1,399 in 2022. They expect mid-size and larger jet pricing to fall and inventories to rise over the next six months. Supply chains remain problematic.

Stability in Europe and Asia are wildcards for the future, however used aircraft sales were strong in the third quarter and the fourth quarter outlook is encouraging according to IADA members.

IADA expects the aircraft market to stay hot for next six months while prices remain high and inventory low. Who'd have thought that an aircraft new less than three years ago could be sold today at a premium?
