Located just south of the A52/A606 roundabout at Edwalton, LNAA's new site was pledged as a gift to the charity by local benefactor Mr Brian Wells. It comes after Tollerton Airfield was sold for development.

LNAA responded to over 1,620 missions last year. Its AW169 helicopter can be in use 19 hours of the day, as pilots, doctors and paramedics are trained to use night vision goggles that allow extended night flying.

A lot has happened at LNAA this year; from moving HQ to upgrading to a new helicopter. The charity hasn't stood still, and the call out numbers reflect the pace of transformation.
