Gama Aviation has taken to the skies in support of the Wales Air Ambulance. With four H145s, it is giving the charity a consistent fleet of advanced helicopters to deliver Wales' vital air ambulance service.

The helicopter bears a distinctive green dragon’s tail and has been named G-LOYW in a vote by the people of Wales – it means bright or shining in Welsh.

A seven-year deal between Gama and Wales Air Ambulance Charity is expected to deliver overall revenues of around GB£65 million with margins consistent with those derived from Gama’s other special mission activities.
