GlobeAir of Linz, Austria, has obtained an enhanced AOC in compliance with the latest European regulation EASA CAT IR and is now approved for air cargo transpor-tation with its fleet of Mustangs.

After leading Cessna Aircraft for more than 30 years, Russ Meyer has retired as chairman with the honorary title of chairman emeritus. Cessna president and ceo Jack Pelton has replaced him as chairman. Meyer, 72, joined Cessna in 1974 after serving as Grumman American Aviation’s president and ceo.

Jeppesen’s UK office has moved and is now co-located with Alteon’s London Gatwick Training Centre. According to Jeppesen, the move provides more space and the ability to expand the range of services offered from this location. It has already made investments in the IT infrastructure to improve the security and reliability of the flight planning services, and the UK office now provides a call centre to handle general aviation sales and customer service for the region.
