Global Crossing Airlines has tasked Lucy Morillo with leading its UrbanX Air subsidiary to scale up UAM in south Florida. There is already an order in place for 200 eVTOL aircraft with Eve, for delivery from 2026.

An agreement with Eviation supports GlobalX charter operations of short distance regional flights in Florida, the Bahamas and select Caribbean destinations with its eVTOL Alice.

Eve is creating a blueprint for the introduction of UAM operations. It is seeking input from Florida communities with Skyports, L3Harris and CAMI, and also with GlobalX following its 200 unit order.
