Peter Broschofsky was appointed as CareFlight's next chief executive officer, commencing on 1 August. He states: “Taking on the role is both an honour and a great responsibility.”

The Newcastle-based King Air will increase the efficiency of CareFlight's service and its capacity to readily transport patients from regional and rural NSW to and from John Hunter Hospital, as well as to Sydney.
