Bristow approved at Weston as first AW189 arrives

Bristow’s full fleet will comprise six AW189 helicopters, five of which will be factory-new, along with two fixed-wing aircraft. They will be stationed at Weston, Sligo, Waterford and Shannon, providing day and night flights.
Bristow will operate six specialised SAR-configured AW189 helicopters from dedicated bases in Sligo, Shannon, Waterford and Dublin Weston. For the first time the Coast Guard aviation service will include fixed wing.
