UK production of iconic Islander begins at Britten-Norman
September 25, 2023
The Islander will be built in the UK for the first time since production was moved to Eastern Europe in the late 1960s. The first UK Islander now in production is due for completion in May 2024.
Britten-Norman gives green light to UK manufacturing
June 12, 2023
The investment is in preparation for intensified interest in the Islander following the planned launch of an OEM, zero-emissions Islander aircraft in 2026.
