Archer secures $65m for high volume manufacturing facility

The ability to manufacture eVTOL aircraft at scale is critical, and Archer has secured a design-build agreement and financing agreement for the world's first, and largest by volume, eVTOL manufacturing facility.
The planned approximately 350,000 square-foot facility is strategically located adjacent to the Covington Municipal Airport and will be capable of producing up to 650 aircraft per year.
Archer pinpoints manufacturing site while sourcing avionics and fuel cells

Archer is to base its manufacturing in Covington, Georgia, and will use the Garmin G3000 flight deck and Molicel fuel cells for its Midnight production aircraft. Initial production should begin later in 2024.
