Resurfaced runway at Le Castellet reopens

A major renovation project began at Le Castellet International airport in November last year, and already the runway has been refurbished. The airport is once again open to air traffic.
Following the appointment of director of operations Jean-François Deltour, previously at Courchevel altiport, Le Castellet is undergoing a two-month modernisation of its runway. Modernisation of the terminal will follow.
Grand Prix brings action to Le Castellet International

The skies were buzzing above Le Castellet International airport as it enjoyed a busy Grand Prix weekend. In the air were all the usual jets and helicopters, plus a former jet ski world champion on a flyboard.
