Universal Aviation highlights newly remodelled Puerto Plata GAT

With the GAT now fully operational, UADR anticipates a notable uptick in traffic to Puerto Plata as the area has seen enormous investment in tourism development.
The new ground handling offices in the Dominican Republic are at Puerto Plata, Samaná and Santo Domingo airports, expanding on the two offices it already has on the island.

Universal Aviation Dominican Republic opened in 2016 and has now signed an agreement with Assist Air to carry out ground handling at more local airports. A new ops control centre is opening at Santo Domingo.
