Babcock and Loganair deliver workers to oil platforms
July 5, 2020
In a five-year deal, passengers fly from Aberdeen to Sumburgh on a Loganair ATR42 aircraft, before taking the final leg by Babcock helicopter. The first flight arrived at Sumburgh, where passengers boarded Sikorsky S-92s.

Bristow Helicopter's search and rescue crew based at Sumburgh airport has completed more than 150 missions, rescued over 40 individuals, and assisted an additional 120 persons in its first 12 months of operations.
