Hermeus secures factory space for Mach 5 aircraft assembly

With funding secured last November Hermeus has wasted no time converting backing into bricks and mortar. Its Atlanta facility is close to Dekalb-Peachtree Airport and will become the assembly line for its aircraft.
At Mach 5 – over 3,000 miles per hour – a flight from New York to London will last 90 minutes rather than seven hours. Hermeus says it is on track to develop such an aircraft, and describes the technology as ‘mature’.
