Hutt signs up with Wyvern as registered operator
As a Registered operator, Hutt Aviation is visible to thousands of industry users, including brokers, corporations and fellow air charter operators seeking trusted operational partners, increasing transparency.

Hutt Aviation has enrolled as a Wyvern Registered operator, demonstrating its commitment to greater safety transparency and accountability. The Registered operator safety data network is an integral component of Wyvern's Aviation Compliance Enhancement System (ACES), through which participating operators voluntarily share SMS and emergency response plan (ERP) information with Wyvern to provide greater visibility into their safety practices and operational framework.

Founded in 1978, Hutt Aviation is a full-service aviation provider based at Minden-Tahoe airport, offering private aircraft charter services for business and leisure travellers throughout northern Nevada, the Lake Tahoe region and beyond. Supporting its charter operations, Hutt Aviation provides aircraft management, maintenance, fuelling, detailing, hangar accommodation and FBO services from its Minden facilities.

As a Registered operator, Hutt Aviation is visible to thousands of industry users, including brokers, corporations and fellow air charter operators seeking trusted operational partners. This increased transparency supports more informed decision-making and helps mitigate the risk of illegal charter operations. Through Wyvern's Pilot and Aircraft Safety Survey report and proprietary Safety Intelligence Report, users can evaluate key areas of an operator's safety profile, including legal operating authority, pilot experience, aircraft information, enforcement actions, incidents and accident history.

Further advancing its commitment to operational safety, Hutt Aviation has also enrolled in the Wyvern Flight Leader Program. Through structured quarterly coaching and ongoing performance monitoring, the programme supports continuous improvement, reinforces industry best practices and helps participating operators strengthen their safety management systems, risk management practices and overall safety culture.

As a Flight Leader Program participant, Hutt Aviation also receives complimentary access to Wyvern's integrated SMS software, which includes capabilities such as ASAP reporting, FOQA integration, CASS tracking, FRAT, FRMS and other data-driven tools designed to enhance proactive risk identification and operational oversight. Together, these resources and ongoing coaching provide Hutt Aviation with a structured framework to evaluate safety performance, identify opportunities for improvement and continually strengthen its approach to operational risk management.
