Collate purchase requisitions and create purchase orders for all materials, goods, and supplies
Sending purchase orders to the suppliers
Review inventories and order as required
Review deliveries against the orders
Track the status of any orders
Coordination of customs requirements
Liaison with other departments, particularly the accounting team
Interact with the suppliers
Dealing with supplier communications for any materials received
Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment or reference
